Back to School Means More Foot Traffic—Please Slow Down!

As we gear up for the start of a new school year, it's important to remember that our community streets will soon be bustling with students walking, biking, and being dropped off at school. With two elementary schools in the neighborhood, we urge all residents to be extra cautious and slow down—especially during morning and afternoon commute hours.

A few reminders:

  • Observe all posted speed limits, particularly in school zones and near crosswalks.

  • Stop for school buses when red lights are flashing.

  • Be alert for children crossing streets, especially at corners and mid-block crosswalks.

  • Avoid distractions while driving—keep your eyes on the road and your phone down.

Let’s all do our part to keep our youngest residents safe!
