Mailbox Security & Community Safety

The Board thanks the Rancho Cordova Police Department and federal agents working with the United States Postal Service for their continued efforts to combat mail theft and for engaging directly with Anatolia residents. We also appreciate our community members for remaining vigilant and cooperative.

Anatolia maintains a relatively low crime rate, but safety is a shared responsibility. Always report suspicious activity immediately. Prompt and accurate reporting is the most effective way to prevent crime and ensure arrests. Social media is not monitored by police and is not a substitute for real-time reporting to proper authorities.

To protect yourself and your neighbors:

  • Report every incident, every time — even small details matter.

  • Collect mail daily and monitor your property.

  • Maintain clear sightlines and lighting around mailboxes and homes.

  • Flock Cameras Discussion: The Board will discuss potential installation under Association oversight at the March meeting to ensure transparency and community ownership of any system.

Posting online does not replace contacting law enforcement. Always report through official channels.

Together, we can keep Anatolia safe and secure.
