Starting Monday, August 9, 2021, the Association will begin the long-anticipated steam room/sauna project. DesCor Builders have been awarded the project and will be onsite early Monday morning to install a temporary wall that will separate the main gym floor to the construction zone.

Due to the case rate increases of COVID-19 from the Delta variant, the Sacramento County Public Health Officer has issued a health order requiring face coverings indoors regardless of vaccination status. This Order will continue to be in effect until rescinded or amended in writing by the Health Officer.

We are experiencing the worst chlorine shortage that this country has ever seen. Some of the contributing factors include (1) a pandemic swimming pool boom, creating a higher demand, (2) a major chemical plant fire in one of the largest chlorine tablet manufacturers in the U.S., (3) labor shortages, and (4) supply chain challenges.

The gym steam room and sauna project will soon be underway and expected to begin on July 19, 2021, pending a completed permitting process. The project will include the closure of the locker rooms at certain times, as well as, the entire hallway from the side entrance door to the aerobics room. Additionally, the contractor will be installing a wall to help mitigate some of the material debris and noise. In advance of the project, we’d like to thank visitors for their patience and understanding while we improve the Clubhouse.

The Association is in the process of providing it’s Members with higher quality, more secure mailboxes. There will be 2 phases of mailbox replacements, with phase 1 beginning on July 8th and ending on July 23rd.

Anatolia has a unique election process that involves both a Delegate Election and a Director Election. Each election requires a registration/self-nomination process and a Member’s meeting. We concluded the Delegate registration process and are prepared to begin the Director registration process. Continue reading if you want to be included as one of the candidates for consideration.

Due to the triple digit weather this weekend we have decided to postpone Chalk it up Anatolia until the Fall. All members who have registered for the June dates will hold their spots until September. We will re-launch sign ups for space in late August.

On June 17, 2021, the Board of Directors and Management met to go over the five categories outlined for re-opening during an Executive Session meeting. Read more for the details from that meeting.

We are aware of the change to the California mask mandate. However, with the multiple options rolled out based on vaccination status by Sacramento County/CDPH Guidelines we are unable to implement any changes until we receive direction from the Board of Directors and Legal Counsel. The Board of Directors is scheduled to meet June 17th, 2021. The moment we have confirmation on how to proceed we will send out a mass communication to the community.
